Senior Consultant - Team leader
Darija graduated in 2005 in political sciences at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her thesis was a comparative study of the pre-election campaigns of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and Social Democratic Party in the 2003 parliamentary elections.
During her studies Darija mostly showed interest in political and electoral marketing strategies and campaigns. Among other projects, she participated in the published research project titled "Comparative study of TV advertising during the election campaign for Croatian parliamentary elections in 2003 and 1995".
Before joining the MPR team, Darija worked three years as a journalist for Radio 101, Internet portal Limun.hr and national commercial television Nova TV. Her work was focused on reporting on economic issues.
In 2007 Reuters and the Robert Bosch Stiftung Foundation awarded Darija the "Economic and Political Reporting from Southeast Europe" scholarship. She completed journalism training at the Reuters headquarters in London and Frankfurt.
Owing to Darija’s experience as a journalist, she quickly came up the ranks at Millenium promocija and is a team leader for PLIVA, Elka cables, H1 Telekom and Fujitsu. She also participates in other agency projects.
For two years she managed PR activities for system integrator Combis and was taking part in Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d. team.
